Poor Dave is still sick, but he managed to go to work today. I'm proud of him for that. But he still made me cook dinner when I got home, which was about an hour after him. What's up with that?

Dinner Date! In Northridge!

Not quite as exciting as hollywood, but still pretty dang awesome. We had a nice dinner at Macaroni Grill, since neither of us had been before and we'd heard good things.

So Dave and I had a nice lunch in Hollywood today. Our restaurant was right across the street from the Church of Scientology: Celebrity Centre. And yes, that's Centre, and not Center. Silly scientologists.

Tomatoes

So I'm really excited about my tomato plant. I could tell it was going to bloom really soon, and today I found a flower on it! I had no idea what tomato flowers looked like, and if any of you don't know either, here is a picture of mine:

No sign from my peppers or my begonia yet, but my fuschia seems to be making a comeback. I bought some wildflower seeds also that I will probably plant this Saturday. Who knew I would love gardening so much? Not me, that's for sure.

So I decided to look into all the different ways the government could get our money. It seems to me that a consumption tax is a good way to go, but will probably only be implemented in addition to the income taxes we already have, which is sad.

Temple Trip: Round 2 = Success

So Dave and I made it out to the temple again, and this time it was open, so we actually got to go in and do the things we wanted to do. We got to be the witness couple for our session, so that was pretty awesome. It was a great night, as can always be expected when going to the temple.
